Indian River County Centennial Celebration
Join the monthly Indian River Genealogy Society program on Tuesday, January 14 from 10:30 am-12:30 pm. The program is free and will be held at the Indian River County Main Library, Media Room.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Indian River County. In this program we'll learn about the plans for the Centennial Celebration, including when it starts and ends, the types of events (the who, where and when) and where to learn more and get the latest updates. Michelle Wagner will present this informative program. Michelle is the Genealogy Librarian of the Indian River County Library System, Chairperson of the Indian River County Centennial (1925-2025), Pelican Island D.A.R. member and Sea Turtle Healing Center volunteer.
The social will begin at 10:30 am followed by 11:00 am business meeting and program.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the meeting but understand that some of our members and friends may not be able to attend in person. For those, the business meeting and program can be attended via Zoom beginning at 11 am but registration is required. The link to register:

DNA GIG will meet Thursday January 16, 2:00 pm virtually
